Days of Our Lives: What happened the night of the accident?

The mysterious disappearance of Sarah Horton from Salem in Days of Our Lives has led to several speculations by the fans of the show which include her presumed death in the accident done by Fiona Cook.

Sarah who had just celebrated her wedding with Xander, suddenly disappeared due to which the tension has risen on Days of Our Lives. Following this, Fiona who had been a bit shady, drove in the dead of night with Brady, when they both were intoxicated and Brady passed out.

Meanwhile, Sarah left to help Maggie get the keys to the Horton Cabin when she is presumed to face off with Brady and Fiona. As Sarah walked along the sidewalk, she was confronted with the bright lights of possibly Fiona’s car directly onto her.

In a fraction of a second, everything went black with a loud thump sound of an accident, as Fiona lost control over her car.

The mystery of the unfortunate accident is yet to be discovered as we don’t know yet if Fiona hit Sarah in that accident. There aren’t any witnesses of what actually happened there. The only other person present at the accident spot except Fiona and Sarah was Brady but he was also unconscious.

Who is Sarah Horton on Days of Our Lives?

Sarah Horton on Days of Our Lives is the daughter of Neil Curtis (played by Joseph Gallison) and Maggie Horton (played by Suzanne Rogers). The character first appeared on the show on December 25, 1981, with Colin Lewis playing the role for a brief period.

Between 1981 and 1983, the roles were played by Anthony Seaward and Katie Krell for one year each. After a break of two years, Lisa Brinegar took over the role between 1985 and 1989, followed by Shauna Lane-Block, Aimee Brooks, and Allison Brown playing the role between 1989 and 1991.

After a break of 27 years, when the character returned to DOOL, the role was taken over by Lindsey Godfrey in 2018 who continues to play the role till now. Lindsey’s journey as Sarah, after she returned in 2018, involved brief romantic relationships with Rex Brady, Eric Brady, and Xander.

After things ended with Rex, Sarah got indulged with Eric and got pregnant with his child. Her life was shaken when he found out that her child was swapped with another by Xander Kirikais but she let it go later and got engaged with Xander.

Their engagement got into trouble as Kristen impersonated Sarah. However, things had finally started to get better for her but the current mystery behind the accident has left Sarah’s fate hanging.
