Theresa Donovan and Brady Black's son, Tate Black was positioned as the romantic interest of Holly Jonas. Although initially, resisting parental advice to be together, Tate and Holly, who made a charming pair lost time in misunderstandings.

Currently played by Leo Howard, Tate Black asked Sophia Choi to go to prom with him to put his parents off scent about his involvement with Nicole Walker's daughter, Holly.
