Monday, December 16: The Trial Begins
Belle and Shawn both decided to stay in Salem, with their divorce finalized. Xander and Philip's trial began with the two brothers taunting each other. At the trial, Shawn and Belle spoke out for Philip, while Brady testified that the Kiriakis clan should be allowed to figure out the inheritance of Titan by themselves.

Tuesday, December 17: A Verdict
Belle tried to convince Sarah to testify about her husband Xander during the trial, but Sarah refused. During recess, Philip congratulated her on her reverse psychology, realizing that the absence of Sarah's testimony would work in Philip's favor. The case ended with Philip winning fifty percent ownership of Titan with Xander.
At the Body and Soul set, Stephanie overheard Alex and Johnny discussing his cover about supposedly sleeping with Joy to keep Chanel distracted. Stephanie misunderstood that Alex was actually intimate with Joy, prompting her to kiss Philip after his trial result.
Wednesday, December 18: In Memoriam

Julie, JJ, and Doug III discussed Alice Horton's missing necklace, but Julie refused to call the cops and make the matter messier. Javi and Gabi discussed her feelings for JJ, and she took the initiative to text JJ and meet up with him for a drink. Chad and Cat shared a conversation at Abigail's grave, where she admitted that she still cared about him.
