Monday, December 9: A fresh case
Rafe helped Leo in trying to deconstruct the case of Lady Whistleblower, who leaked Body and Soul spoilers to the Salem public. Additionally, Leo was seen struggling with the fallout and thinking about his strained relationship with Javi.
On the other hand, Javi was also concerned about Rafe getting too involved with Leo in the case. He also decided to explore a new romantic relationship with someone he met on a dating app, named Kerry.
Joy was initially set to leave Salem after a conversation with EJ, but Kate convinced her to stay back for her career. Meanwhile, Chanel assumed that Alex and Joy had a physical relationship, and Johnny asked Alex to keep the secret so that his marriage to Chanel (and the affair with Joy) could remain hidden.
Tuesday, December 10: Missing necklace
Hope decided to look into Doug III’s background before leaving, just to make sure everything was above board with the new person in their lives. Meanwhile, Doug III was shown in possession of the missing necklace from the time capsule in the Horton house, even as everyone looked for it.
In Vancouver, Chad, Cat and JJ decided to put their plan against Clyde into action. Before doing so, Cat admitted to Chad that she still had feelings for him, but he remained adamant that they would have to push this conversation till after Clyde was brought to justice.
After putting their plan in motion, Gabi and JJ broke into Clyde's room to hack into his devices, while Chad and Cat headed to the Club to stall Clyde. However, their plan took a messy turn when Clyde intercepted Gabi and JJ, and Cat came face to face with her mother at the Club.
Wednesday, December 11: Showdown
Brady spoke to Ava in the Square, confiding in her about how Kristen changed his weekend plans with their daughter Rachel. He then asked Ava if she would like to go on a date with him, and she accepted by saying that she was not scared of Kristen.
Clyde confronted Gabi and JJ in his room with a gun, and JJ pulled out his own weapon to counter. While distracting his opponent, JJ secretly types out an SOS message. Meanwhile, Cat and Chad tried to restrain Catharina, who pointed a gun at them and refused to believe that Cat was her daughter. Catharina pursued Chad back up to Clyde's room and shot Clyde before he could be questioned.
Thursday, December 12: Suspect down
Chad decided to take Clyde to the hospital before more fatal blood loss after Catharina's gunshot. He wanted to interrogate Clyde and find the location of Abigail's body, a question that JJ had in common too.
Catharina was taken into custody, but she thanked her daughter Cat for finding her. At the hospital, Chad received news that Clyde was in critical condition and had lapsed into a coma.
Friday, December 13: Waging the war
Kristen and Ava shared a heated conversation over Brady, with Ava asserting that she was unwilling to back down. Meanwhile, Xander discussed Shawn's deposition with Justin and gave a small hint about his plans for Philip to Sarah.
On the other hand, Philip and Stephanie collaborated on how to rectify his media image to sway the court in his favor. As Philip also got the news that he might have to search for a new lawyer, Stephanie suggested that he should find Lady Whistleblower and dig up some unsavory facts about Xander to make him back off.
