Days of Our Lives weekly recap from January 6 to January 10, 2025: Drama in Salem continues

Days of Our Lives concluded another week in January 2025, featuring some new developments in the lives of the characters in Salem. The main characters highlighted in the storyline over the past week included Johnny, Chanel, Holly, Tate, Doug, Sophia, Stephanie, and Philip.

Chanel confronted Johnny about leaving Body and Soul after his affair with Joy. Meanwhile, Holly remained upset about Tate and Sophia's pregnancy, with Doug providing comfort during her troubled times.

On the other hand, Stephanie discovered that Philip had forged the letter granting him rights to Titan. Additionally, Ava found out that Kristen’s daughter Rachel was the one sending her threatening texts to stay away from Brady.

Monday, January 6: Confronting demons

Rafe was held captive at the DiMera mansion while Arnold took his place as a duplicate in Salem. Leo found himself facing some new worries as another Lady Whistleblower popped up, directly challenging him. Meanwhile, Chanel confronted Joy about her dalliance with Johnny, but Joy convinced her that nothing happened and that Johnny stopped them before they could go too far.


Tuesday, January 7: Riddled relationships

Leo encountered Javi and Kerry in the Square and apologized for his past behavior with Javi. Alex and Joy shared a conversation where he comforted her about the whole situation with Johnny and Chanel.

Meanwhile, Chanel decided to quit Body and Soul, which Abe and Johnny strongly opposed. By the end of the episode, they reached the decision that Johnny should quit as a director rather than replace Chanel as one of the cast members.


Wednesday, January 8: Drama unfolded

Tate's father, Brady, spoke to Sophia's mother, Amy, about Sophia's unexpected pregnancy. Meanwhile, Holly found out from Sophia that her mother had not let her terminate the pregnancy.

Doug III was seen supporting Julie as she mourned the absence of her late husband during the new year. It was revealed to Ava and Kristen that Kristen’s young daughter Rachel was sending Ava threatening messages, asking Ava to stay away from Rachel’s father Brady.

Thursday, January 9: Pregnancy problems

Holly rescued Doug after he was mugged and brought him back to the Kiriakis mansion to be patched up. Meanwhile, Tate discussed how upset Holly was with Sophia.

After overhearing Philip, Stephanie realized that Victor Kiriakis' letter was a forgery and Philip had no claim over Titan.


Friday, January 10: Troubling times

Cat and Marlena shared a conversation about John and how he saved Cat's mother, Catharina, from Konstantin. Holly and Doug shared a conversation about his financial troubles, and she offered to loan him some money.

Meanwhile, Stephanie confronted Philip about the forgery and decided that she was done with him.
