Days of Our Lives set up plot points for many major storylines in the week from October 7 to October 11. These involved the fake Abigail and her mission to fool Chad into believing she is his lost wife. The couple made a major decision on a romantic getaway to Paris.
The second prominent storyline was the aftermath of Sarah's accident. Eric started to suspect that the blame was being pinned on Brady and even confronted Sarah about it. At the end of the week, Sarah also got a flashback showing her who was truly involved and who she needed to be on guard from.

Stefan and Gabi met in her hospital room and reminisced over their past memories. They both agreed that their love had kept them going, but things got messy after their respective forays with EJ and Ava. Stefan finally said that he was filing for divorce, and Gabi agreed that it was the best solution, though she broke down into tears when he left.
Meanwhile, Chad asked "Abigail" if it was right to tell their children of their mother's return. However, "Abigail" was adamant about keeping the secret from the kids for a while, owing to Clyde's plan. Instead, she suggested that she and Chad should take a trip to Paris in the hope that her memory might be restored.
Tuesday, October 8: Behind the soap
The episode focused mainly on the production sets of Body and Soul when Hattie vented to Leo about losing her role. Meanwhile, Bonnie remained ecstatic about her continuing role and promised to act as part of the ensemble instead of trying to be in the spotlight.
Johnny was seen worrying about directing Chanel and Alex's intimate scenes. He even walked in on Alex and Stephanie, who were having a moment on set.
Wednesday, October 9: Crash and burn
Sarah was seen struggling after her accident as Xander and Fiona consoled her and tried to find ways for a speedy recovery. Stefan and Gabi parted ways after their souring relations.
Meanwhile, Eric started to become suspicious of the circumstances surrounding Sarah's accident and the blame on Brady. He decided to ask around a little and went to the bar where Brady was drinking that night. There, Eric discovered that Brady had left with Fiona, and the two were together the night of the car crash.
Thursday, October 10: Is all of it a ruse?
"Abigail" and Chad visited their house in Paris, where he recounted some of his fondest memories. Then, Chad suggested that they should just get married to each other. Meanwhile, Clyde plotted how to get Chad out of the way to gain access to the DiMera inheritance.
Eric confronted Fiona about the night of the accident. She made up a story that Brady was alone when he left, but Eric did not believe her. He decided to go directly to Sarah and ask if she was knowingly covering up for Fiona and pinning the blame on Brady.
Friday, October 11: Relations and revelations
"Abigail" told Chad they should get married as soon as possible, preferably in Paris. Later, she was seen at a Parisian cafe by Holly, who was visiting her mother, Nicole, in the city.
On the other hand, Eric and Sarah spoke to each other about his findings. Sarah promised him she wasn't covering for Fiona because her memory of the night was still blurry. However, just after Eric left the house, Sarah had a flashback and realized that it was indeed Fiona driving the car that crashed into her.
