Days of Our Lives weekly recap (September 2 to 6, 2024): Eric comes clean about his mistakes as Fiona tried to silence Sarah

Days of Our Lives had a mysterious and drama packed week from September 2 to September 6, 2024. The main focal incident was the legal proceedings surrounding Brady's supposed hit-and-run case with Sarah. Even though Brady has been pleading guilty, could Sarah's flashbacks indicate otherwise?

Eric's return to Salem became the talk of the town. He met Marlena and offered Brady some support. Meanwhile, he also clashed with an old rival, EJ, about leaving for Paris with Nicole and Jude.

In a slip of tongue, Tate told Holly that Eric was the one who killed her father Daniel in an accident. Heartbroken and infuriated, Holly blamed Eric for her troubles, which shall make for a difficult conversation between the two.

Monday, September 2 - Audition Fever

Marlena paid a visit to Leo, and the two spoke about the possibility of removing Hattie from the cast after she had got accepted for the stage play role.

Leo remained firm on his stand of having Hattie pull through with her contract. Meanwhile, Roman and Kate met for lunch, and she convinced him to let them set up the play in his pub.

Abe and Paulina discussed Chanel's forthcoming audition. Alex and Stephanie also busied themselves with audition preparations as Alex asked for her help reciting some lines. Some sparks seemed to fly between the two while reading a romantic scene.

Tuesday, September 3 - Loves Me, Loves Me Not

Chanel and Abe had a bit of a tiff when they bith showed up for the auditions at the Body & Soul office. Abe, Kate and Johnny started the audition after tempers had cooled.

Abigail and Stefan put a difficult conversation behind them as they discussed their past history in the wake of Abigail's memory loss. She convinced Stefan to try and win his wife Gabi back.

However, Stefan discovered Gabi in a state of undress with EJ in the bedroom, fueling his anger and frustration. Even though Gabi started off with the intention of hurting him, it was clear that she still had feelings for Stefan while EJ pined for Nicole.

Wednesday, September 4 - Lost Memories

Stefan punched EJ and confronted Gabi about the affair. The two lashed out at each other, breaking all hopes of reconciliation. Stephanie and Abigail had a conversation about their past friendship and made promises to try and catch up with each other properly.

Later, Stephanie spoke to Steve and Kayla about Abigail. Even Leo and Chad had a conversation about Abigail returning from the dead and how her memory loss was affecting Chad and Abigail's relationship. Meanwhile, Mark informed Aaron of Brady's arrest in a hit-and-run case.

Thursday, September 5 - Accidents Happen

Xander stewed in his anger for Brady even as Brady felt guily and remorseful about his drunken hit-and-run violation. Even Eric returned to town from Paris to offer Brady some support. Justin decided to keep defending Brady as well.

Xander and Fiona spoke to Sarah, who had a flashback to the night of the accident and saw a blurry silhouette of the driver. Tate and Holly talked about the accident and how her own father had dided in a car crash. Tate accidentally revealed to her that it was Eric who was responsible for the accident with Holly's father.

Friday, September 6 - Do You Remember?

John tried to convince Brady to put in a not guilty plea, keeping his family and son Tate in mind. Eric and EJ confronted each other when Eric came to the police station to meet his brother. The two exchanged snipes about Nicole and how she was divorcing EJ for Eric.

Eric and Brady spoke about taking responsibility for your actions, and Eric decided to tell Holly that he killed her father Daniel by accident. Meanwhile, Tate tried to do some damage control upon his Eric reveal to Holly. Distraught, Holly asked him to leave, just as Eric reached to talk to her.

Sarah started to remember details from her accident, but was still confused about who the driver was. Alone in the room with a sleeping Sarah, Fiona whispered a prayer of forgiveness and moved a pillow to Sarah's face, intending to smother her.
