In the week from September 23 to 27, Days of Our Lives focused on the in-story soap production 'Body and Soul.' Meanwhile, the animosity between Xander and Brady remained, as Xander tried to kill Brady despite Sarah's attempts to make him cool down.
Additionally, Tate and Holly had a bad falling out after she asked him to stop defending his father, Brady, after her aunt Sarah's accident. Tate asked her to leave after he caught her snooping in his house. Even Eric and EJ were at each other's throats, naturally, because of Nicole.

Monday, September 23: At the hospital

Johnny and Chanel shared a dinner before their day at the Body and Soul shoot the next day. Jada arrested Connie and detained her at the police station.
Gabi and EJ spoke to each other emotionally at the hospital, as Gabi thanked him for saving her life when the bomb exploded at the DiMera cellar. After EJ left, Stefan paid his wife for a visit, too. But their reunion did not end well after Stefan mentioned re-hiring Ava, and Gabi angrily told him to leave.
Tuesday, September 24: Smile for the camera
The episode focused mainly on the 'Body and Soul' cast as they prepared to conduct an official photoshoot for the soap. Chanel and Alex were asked to do a few poses together during the shoot and found out they would be having intimate scenes in the soap.
Meanwhile, Johnny approached Leo on the sets. He suggested some script changes, which were a complete surprise.
Wednesday, September 25: Revenge plans
Holly met EJ at the hospital and expressed frustration at the justice system. She said she wanted to help any way she could, even if it meant bringing Brady's crime to light. She even snooped around Brady's room before Tate came across her.
Meanwhile, Xander purchased a gun to go after Brady in his anger. However, Sarah followed him and asked what he was doing. She requested him to cool down and stop taking his anger out on Brady.
Thursday, September 26: Confrontations
Xander drugged Brady in an attempt to kill him for what he did to Sarah but was unable to go through with it. Meanwhile, Eric and EJ fought with each other over Nicole and Holly.
Tate saw Holly snooping around and asked her what she was doing. She explained how angry she was about Brady not being imprisoned and said that Tate should stop defending his father. After a heated fight, Holly left, and Tate met Sophia for some solace after his stress.
Friday, September 27: Talking to each other
Johnny and Chanel had a huge disagreement after his conversation with Leo. Chanel did not appreciate that her husband tried to get her portion of the script changed without telling her about it.
Sarah's memory slowly started coming back in flashes. She chose to tell Fiona about it, unaware of her involvement in the accident.
