Peacock's Days of Our Lives, set in the fictional town of Salem, first premiered on November 8, 1965, on NBC Network. It revolves around the residents of Salem, especially the four central families - the Hortons, the Bradys, the DiMeras, and the Kiriakis. Since its debut, the show has won numerous Daytime Emmy Awards, including the prestigious Outstanding Drama Series.

The recent episodes build up a facedown between two iconic characters, Xander Cook and Philip Kiriakis, in the courtroom as they battle for the position of CEO. The show, created by Ted and Betty Corday, is centered around the themes of love, rivalry, family feuds, and business ambitions.

In the latest episodes of Days of Our Lives, Xander and Philip are seen fighting to become the CEO of Titan Industries. Xander, who currently holds the position, claimed it through legal means without bypassing the law. Despite his emotional turmoil from his interpersonal relationships, he has been influential in making the company work.

Recently, Xander was shown making aggressive and risky decisions, which might be one reason his reign was threatened.

Philip Kiriakis, on the other hand, belongs to one of the most influential families of Salem. His main goal seems to be to reclaim the position of CEO to gain control over the company. He, unlike Xander, resorts to unlawful tactics to try to de-throne Xander, including sending Victor Kiriakis an ambiguous letter.

Courtroom drama between Xander and Philip on Days of Our Lives

Belle Black, who represented Philip on Days of Our Lives, speaks about Xander's past violent tendencies in a bit to undermine his current status as the CEO position-holder of Titan Industries. She asks Sarah Horton, Xander's wife, to take the stand and testify against him. Sarah, who remains close to both Xander and Philip, is shown to be caught in a dilemma.

Maggie Kiriakis is asked to take the stand, but her character looks to be hesitant as her testification could sway the court in either way due to her strong family loyalties. The courtroom drama is mostly centered around the family politics of the Kiriakis as they uncover a web of lies and deceit from near and dear ones.

The judge on Days of Our Lives has yet to declare the ruling, which sets the stage for further upcoming drama on the show. His decision, which will determine the future of Titan Industries, can be in favor of either Xander or Philip. Both decisions will have significant consequences.

If Xander can hold onto his position, the Kiriakis family tensions will resurface, causing them to seek revenge. On the other hand, if Philip is made the new CEO, Xander will seek legal help to regain his lost power.
