Scott Reeves is an American actor, musician, and songwriter known for roles in Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless, and General Hospital. The actor made his daytime debut in 1988 when he was cast for a brief appearance as Jake Hogansen on Days of Our Lives.
Jake Hogansen appeared in Salem as a teenage boy for a very brief series of episodes in the year 1988. He went to school with Eve Donovan and was seen disrespecting her with a group of his friends. She, in turn, framed them for possession of alcohol and substances, leading to their arrest.
This resulted in much back-and-forth between the two characters, with Jake even kidnapping Eve at a point in the storyline. However, after Scott Reeves left the soap to focus on other projects, Jake was never seen on screen or in Eve's vicinity in Salem again.

For his work on The Young and the Restless, Scott Reeves was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 1994.
As a musician, Reeves is one of the co-founders of the country music duo Blue County with musician Aaron Benward. They released a self-titled album in 2004 and had four songs that made it to the Billboard charts.
Scott Reeves married actress Melissa Brennan (now Reeves). He met her on the sets of Days of Our Lives while he was playing Jake Hogansen, and she was cast as Jennifer Horton. The couple got engaged in 1989 in Vancouver. Their marriage ceremony took place in 1990 at Lake Manor Chapel in California. Scott and Melissa Reeves have two children, a son and a daughter.
