Jacqueline Grace Lopez has played the role of Allison "Blaze" Rogers, on ABC’s long-running soap opera General Hospital. She is an American actress, singer, writer and producer. While highlighting the impact of her role, she wrote about how grateful she is,

Jacqueline shared a post on June 3, 2024, on Instagram, showing her journey with General Hospital and the importance of representation.

Jacqueline Grace Lopez shared her journey with General Hospital
Jacqueline was born on July 12, 1985, in Chicago and has worked in television shows and movies. Her journey with General Hospital started in 2015 when she first appeared as a babysitter between 2015 and 2016.
Later in 2022, she recurred in the daytime show with a new character of Allison “Blaze” Rogers, which has been loved by the fans since it started.
In a recent post that she shared on Instagram describing her journey to General Hospital, she wrote,
“Only older, do I truly see and feel how #representationmatters. Grateful for this moment for so many reasons. Thank you @generalhospitalabc.”
She spoke about how she looked when she was a kid and how she tried to change the smallest things about herself, like wearing contacts since junior high school.
“Growing up in the 90s I was this little Filipino Latina with big bucks teeth and glasses since the third grade.”
She added,
“I think I got contacts maybe in junior high.”
In the post, she shared how she could never relate to anything she saw and how that made her feel left out.
“I never really saw myself represented in anything.”
She continued,
“And now older I really see how that contributed to my feeling invisible.”
She added,
“So to get this moment to realize that there might be some kid home from school or someone who sees someone who looks like them if that can help them dream big, I know that would have helped me and that means everything.”
