Recap of General Hospital: January 2, 2025

The latest episode of General Hospital was aired on January 2, 2025, and saw Valentin was shown ambushing Lulu and their daughter in Prague. Lulu Spencer was in Prague with Dante Falconeri and their goal was to help bring Charlotte Cassadine back home. Valentin was shown having an intense argument with Lulu regarding their custody battle over Charlotte.

While they were fighting over custody, a sniper bullet interrupted the tense moment. Although no one got hurt, Valentin seized this opportunity to flee with Charlotte. This made Lulu emotional and she blamed herself and her supposed incapabilities as a mother for not being able to protect Charlotte.

The General Hospital episode also saw Dante trying to soothe Lulu and reassure her that they would do everything in their power to bring Charlotte back. At the same time, Valentin and Charlotte had gone to a safe house to seek asylum there. Valentin seemed to have been hurt due to the bullet but he reassured Charlotte that he would take care of her and protect her from all the evil surrounding them.

Sasha Gilmore confided in Michael Corinthos about her pregnancy and her decision to raise the child without the influences of the Corinthos and the Quartermaine. Michael was visibly upset by this decision as he realized that this would mean that he wouldn't really play a huge role in the child's life. He tried to grapple with the emotions and process the information.

Before their conversation ended, Michael made Sasha promise him that if she ever reconsidered her condition, she would ask Michael to be a part of the child's life.

Sonny Corinthos, a mob lord on ABC's General Hospital, was working out at the gym when he suddenly collapsed after his heart rate rose and became irregular. Isaiah, another gym member, helped Sonny get back up on his feet. Meanwhile, Sonny was determined not to let anyone find out that he had collapsed as he believed his rivals and enemies would see it as an opportunity or a sign of weakness.

Ava Jerome sought help from Alexis Davis after all her fortunes and her assets were taken away by the Cassadines. She was yet to discover that Alexis was working with the Cassadines and had already legally made Ace the heir. Davis struggled to decide between Ava and her loyalty towards the Cassadine family.

Anna Devane, who was wary of looming threats in Port Charles, took preventive measures to ensure that her granddaughter Emma Drake was protected. Anna confronted Jack Brennan, who she suspected had been planning schemes to harm people. She ended their conversation by tasing him and proving a point that she would go to any length to protect her family.
