General Hospital recap: Kristina's concerns and Chase on family duty
Kristina confides in Alison about her plans for the baby
Kristina and Alison (Blaze) discuss life after giving birth, and Kristina mentions taking maternity leave, which surprises Alison. Kristina admits that she has been thinking about what might happen to the baby if TJ and Molly break up. She adds that she might keep her options open and try to get custody of the child from Molly.
Kristina also asks Alison if she would like to co-parent if the situation arises, which Alison says she isn't ready for. Kristina sighs and says that she is also not ready to raise a child but if TJ and Molly break up, she will have to make some difficult decisions.
Brook Lynn and Chase move into Quartermaine
Chase comes over to the Quartermaine mansion and tells Brook Lynn about his experience dropping Finn off at the rehabilitation center. He mentions that Finn wanted to take responsibility and also apologized for all the troubles he had given his family.
The pair then discuss Violet and where to move in with her. They consider the options of moving to Finn's place or buying a bigger place for themselves, but those options don't work out. Finally, they realize that it might be best if they moved in with Violet at Quartermaine mansion itself.
Chase realises that it is up to him to take care of his family and his niece now. He goes to check in on a sleeping Violet and then comes back to find Brook Lynn asleep, too. At this point, Chase decides that it would be best for them to have familial support around them and says that they could start moving in the next day.
Jason and Carly have a disagreement
Jason goes to Carly's place to meet her, and she tells him she knows he's been protecting her. Carly further admits that Sam and Spinelli hacked FBI files and discovered the truth. She asks Jason why he would give up his freedom and family to save her.
Jason and Carly have a heated argument about her accepting the charges. He tells her to back off and keep the charges to herself if she wants to see her daughter grow up. Jason also says that he would feel upset if Carly got into trouble. He manages to convince her that it is his choice and that she shouldn't get in the way of it or try to stop him now.
Sonny and Natalia meet up at the pool
Sonny and Natalia meet at the Metro Court pool and order drinks. They discuss Sonny's living situation now that Ava has moved out. They talk about Ava for a while, with Sonny discussing how she became the reason for his trust issues. Natalia mentions that she'll stay wary of Ava and Sonny tells her to do so.
The conversation turns deeper into betrayals and friendships. Sonny mentions that he can only forgive and forget with family but no one else. It is clear after the talk that Sonny and Natalia understand each other better as they raise their drink glasses in a toast.
Laura drops by to meet Ava
Laura meets Ava at Metro Court and asks why she's staying there. Ava replies by saying that she moved out from Sonny's place because he was being erratic and lashing out. She mentions to Laura that they had a fight about nothing and everything, and she had no option but to move out.
Ava tells Laura that Kristina accused her of something and Sonny sided with Kristina, as always. Then, Ava asks Laura to help her in a custody battle for Avery with Sonny. She reminds Laura of their friendship and asks for advice, even though Laura is reluctant to get involved.
They discuss possible court outcomes and what kind of defense Ava should present for character witnesses. As Laura leaves, Ava steps out on her balcony with a drink in her hand.
