Sasha had been a reformed drug addict at the time and after burying her baby she spiralled back into addiction and landed in Ferncliff mental institution. It has been a long time since she mourned the loss of her baby and her husband. As such, when the widow hesitantly trusted Cody after he rescued her from the mental institution.

Their baby steps into romance got a validation when the two unexpectedly had an intimate session a few weeks ago. This might result in a pregnancy for Sasha as it had with her unplanned intimacy with Brando.

Another pointer to the possibility of Sasha's pregnancy arises from Tracy's U-turn behavior. As viewers will remember, Tracy was very upset with Cody and Sasha's relationship.
