Ever since General Hospital unveiled the death of Sam McCall, the citizens of Port Charles have been reeling from the after-effects of the news. Sam's untimely fate also reached Michael Corinthos, who mourned her death. However, Michael has more things to worry about and be suspicious about, mainly his wife, Willow.

For months, Willow has been exchanging glances with Drew Quartermaine. Initially, Michael did not notice, as the two shared a few secret moments and experiences. However, he has now become suspicious, especially after seeing a video at the Quartermaine mansion indicating that all is not well in his marriage.

In the show's November 6, 2024, episode, Willow and Drew had an intimate time together at the Quartermaine mansion. At the end of the episode, Michael was seen coming across footage from the baby camera set up in the room. Michael likely was already suspicious of Drew and Willow sneaking around. On the November 6 episode of General Hospital, Michael was seen at the Quartermaine mansion, speaking to Brook Lynn. He received the news about Sam and seemed heartbroken and mournful. Brook Lynn attempted to console Michael, and they spoke briefly in reminiscence about Sam.

Michael said he hadn't seen his wife around and relied on Brook Lynn for support while talking about Sam. She agreed that it was awful that Sam had passed away so suddenly and strangely.

At that moment, Drew's daughter, Scott, interrupted the conversation, running into the room after having a bad dream. She told Brook Lynn that she had been trying to find her father for comfort, but he was nowhere to be seen. Brook Lynn comforted the young girl and told her she shouldn't be frightened of dreams. The two went to the kitchen to calm Scott down and make her a hot chocolate.

As Brook Lynn and Scott left, Willow walked into the room and hugged Michael. She said she wanted to be there for him while he suffered Sam's loss. Michael asked her where she had been, and Willow said she had just fallen asleep. Then, Drew walked in and Michael informed him about Scott's bad dream. He said that he had been a bit busy. This made Michael slightly suspicious as he looked over at Willow and Drew.

While walking out later, Michael decided to check the baby monitor camera footage just to be sure. He likely came across the video footage of Willow and Drew sleeping together in the room as the episode ended with Michael suspiciously watching the video.
