General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ava's trial is coming to an end this week. The jury has been set to reveal the verdict of the trial, with the character being convicted as guilty or freed if not guilty for the alleged crime of pushing Kristina from a window and causing her miscarriage.

Disclaimer: This article contains spoilers for General Hospital and may have elements that are speculative in nature.

Spoilers indicate that Molly Lansing-Davis will be shown pleading with her sister Kristina. It might be likely that Ava is declared not guilty at the end of the trial, leading to an emotional response from Kristina's end. As Alexis has already been escorted out of the courtroom for contempt of court during the trial, Molly might not want Kristina to follow in their mother's footsteps.

However, if Ava is declared innocent, the matter might be far from over. Spoilers also indicate that Sonny is ready to stand by his daughter Kristina's side even if the court fails her, in which case, things could get heated after the trial.

Ava's trial was conducted on General Hospital this week, with her attorney Ric Lansing trying to prove that Kristina's fall and miscarriage were simply an accident and not Ava's fault. While he tried to prove that Kristina's anger and missteps were responsible for the loss of her baby, Kristina gave testimony against Ava.

Kristina recounted becoming a surrogate for Molly and TJ's baby and that she had been healthy and hale throughout the pregnancy. Kristina said that there was no chance for the baby to come to harm other than from the altercation with Ava.

Kristina described the confrontation, saying that she had gone to ask Ava to back off from her suit on Kristina's father Sonny. As per Kristina's statement, it was when Ava grabbed her arm and pushed her out of the window in the heat of the moment.

After her statements, Ric called Kristina back to the stand. He highlighted that Kristina was not trustworthy, as she had wanted to keep the baby for herself, almost forcing Molly and TJ into a custody battle. He continued that she considered Sonny more important than her pregnancy, which is why her baby died.

Then, it was Ava's turn to testify and give her statements. She recounted her version of the fatal argument, saying that she had merely put her hand on Kristina's shoulder to try and calm her. At this point, Kristina had stumbled back, tripped and fallen out of the suite's window into the Metro Court Pool.

During the closing statements, Ric mentioned that the situation was grave, but Ava wasn't at fault. Kristina had an accident that resulted in her baby's death but was trying to blame Ava for it because she was angry. The jury stepped away to decide on the verdict of the case.
