Lindsay Hartley has played the role of Sam McCall on the ABC soap opera General Hospital for brief periods since 2020 as a substitute for Kelly Monaco. The actress first appeared on the show as Sam on August 4, 2020, and continued for a few episodes until August 13, 2020.

General Hospital has again swapped Kelly Monaco temporarily with Lindsay Hartley. The actress, on August 22, 2024, posted on Instagram about being grateful for her brief appearances as Sam.
“I’ve been part of daytime television since I was 21, and it holds a special place in my heart, for countless reasons. I’m grateful to step into such big shoes again -especially when I get to do it alongside my bestie @brookkerr,” wrote the actress in her post.
Lindsay has joined the show at a crucial moment as Sam is attending the funeral and mourning the death of the unborn child of Molly Lansing and TJ, which was carried by Kristina.
Lindsay will be seen standing with Molly during her tough time, but as soon as she sees Ric Lansing, she tells her mother that all Ric brings to the table are problems for everyone around him.
