Hope Logan has been an important part of The Bold and the Beautiful storyline since 2002. Her friction with Steffy Forrester is one of the major draws of the soap. Current plot dynamics have worried Hope's fans about an impending exit from the soap. However, there is no word from the producers of the current actor, and it remains a speculation by viewers.

The initial years of Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful were portrayed by various child actors including twins, Rachel and Amanda Pace, who were playing Hope between 2004 and 2008. Born in 2002, Hope was played by twins Colby and Grayson Button, Madison and Paige Pelletier, Ava and Jack Dunlop, Rebecca and Vanessa Rogers, and Cali and Noelle Sheldon. The Sheldon twins worked in The Bold and the Beautiful between 2003 and 2004, while the Dunlop twins played the character intermittently in 2002 and 2003.
However, in 2009, the production team decided to age the character and move the story arc forward rapidly. While no backstory was provided to retcon the age, in 2010 the soap saw teenager Hope.
In 2010, actor Kim Matula was seen as the teenager Hope and later, the young adult. Kim portrayed Hope's teen crush on photographer Graham Darros followed by her young love for Oliver. Hope fell for Liam Spencer but failed to keep him away from her rival, Steffy. After a disastrous episode with Wyatt, and losing her baby, Kim's Hope moved to Italy.

Hope birth in 2002 was shrouded in a scandal, as her drunk mother had shared an intimate moment with her son-in-law, Deacon. Deacon was married to Brooke's daughter, Bridget at the time. However, after her birth, Deacon wrote off his paternity liabilities to Ridge. For a brief period, Hope also had Nick Marone taking up her paternal responsibility.
After showing a few years of childhood on the show, Hope quickly aged into a teenager. Navigating through unlucky love affairs, Hope narrowly escaped getting raped and her teenage romance with Oliver faltered when her mother got intimate with him.
Bill Spencer's son Liam was an important romantic relationship for Hope. However, she had to fight over Liam with Steffy. The storyline during this time showed Liam tossed between the two girls followed by his marriage to Steffy. The couple shares a girl. Back from Italy in 2018, Hope had her chance with him, and they went on to have a baby girl Beth, who was considered dead at birth but unknowingly adopted by Steffy.
In 2019, she harbored romantic feelings for Thomas after they worked together on her fashion line. Thomas manipulated her into marrying him.
