Morgan Fairchild on the ABC soap opera General Hospital has played the role of Haven de Havilland. She appeared on the show as Haven in July 2022, May 2023, and April 2024. The actress also played the role of Sydney Chase for a brief period in 1996.

Morgan Fairchild was born in Dallas, Texas, United States, and now lives in Los Angeles. She was born to Martha Jane, who was an English teacher at Richardson High School, and Edward Milton McClenny.

As a child, Morgan appeared on WFAA's Mr. Peppermint Show with host Jerry Haynes. During the same time, she also appeared in several locally broadcast commercials on Dallas-Fort Worth television stations.

The General Hospital star Morgan Fairchild was married to Jack Calmes between 1967 and 1973, after which, in 1987, she got into a relationship with Mark Seiler but on July 7, 2023, Morgan announced the death of her long-time partner.

She has worked as an activist for social causes including AIDS and environmentalism. Apart from her acting career, Fairchild has worked with the Screen Actors Guild, which is now called SAG-AFTRA.

She was on the board of the Guild for three years and has worked on many committees, such as the Legislative Committee, National Executive Committee, SAG-AFTRA Relations Committee, Commercials Contracts Committee, Honors and Tributes Committee (HATS), and the Guild Governance and Rules Committee.

Morgan started her acting career when she played Faye Dunaway’s double in the 1967 movie Bonnie and Clyde. She then relocated to New York City and landed her first official role as Jennifer Pace in the daytime television show Search for Tomorrow, from 1973 to 1977.

During the 1970s and 1980s, Fairchild was a well-known figure on shows like Dallas, Flamingo Road (also received a Golden Globe nomination for her role), and Falcon Crest.

The actress has not only worked in daytime shows but also in movies like The Seduction (1982) as Jamie Douglas, Criminal Hearts (1995) as District Attorney, All Good Things (2018) as Grandma, and The Nana Project (2023) as Francesca.

Morgan became a well-known figure through her famous roles in shows like Mork & Mindy and Murphy Brown, which also got her an Emmy nomination. In the 1990s, she appeared in some advertisements and made some guest appearances, most famously as Nora Bing on Friends and as Sandra Bernhard's girlfriend on Roseanne.

During the 2000s and later, Fairchild remained active in many roles, in shows like Two and a Half Men, Bones, and Revenge. She even went back to a Peacock soap opera, Days of Our Lives, which got her a nomination for a Daytime Emmy.
