In the episode aired on June 10, 2024, the viewers saw that John Black had a brief confrontation with Konstantin about his daughter’s death. Back when John used to forcefully work for Victor Kiriakis as “the pawn” he had made some bad deeds while trying to deal with Konstantin’s constant interruption in Victor’s underworld rule.

As John had no memory of his past, when Konstantin told him that he was responsible for his daughter Catherine’s death, John felt guilt and couldn’t sleep with the burden of it. To seek redemption, he decided to visit Catherine’s grave in Greece.
