Sally Spectra's journey on The Young and the Restless in brief
In November 2020, Sally Spectra arrived in Genoa City on The Young and the Restless, ready to make it big in the world of fashion. She worked her way into Lauren Fenmore at Fenmore's, but her cutthroat ambition soon made her target Summer Newman as a potential threat. Sally orchestrated a plan to get an offer for a job in Italy for Summer, thus removing her from Genoa City.
It was during that time that Sally became romantically involved with Jack Abbott. Their relationship soured when Jack found out that she was deceitful, leading to their separation. The breakup left Sally more career-minded and she later took a job at Newman Media.
At Newman Media, Sally grew close to Adam Newman, and eventually, their relationship turned romantic. Adam's complicated dynamic with his brother Nick Newman created a love triangle that pulled Sally into a tumultuous affair between the brothers. Despite the tension this created, Sally resumed her career, even going so far as becoming the CEO of Newman Media for a period of time.
She remained right at the hub of the action in Genoa City as Sally's relationships with both Adam and Nick continued to evolve.
