Krista Allen's Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful
Krista Allen joined The Bold and the Beautiful in 2021 when Taylor Hayes returned to LA. Taylor had been undertaking overseas travel for missionary work.
Allen's Taylor stayed with her daughter Steffy Forrester-Finnegan at her home. She was also shown spending time with her grandchildren. She was seen supporting Ridge emotionally when Brooke got together with Deacon Sharpe. She offered him a place to stay to get over Brooke.
By the end of the 2022 storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy and Thomas were seen delightedly hoping that Taylor and Ridge were getting back together. However, after one kiss, Taylor decided to give the relationship more thought.
When Steffy survived being shot and Finn was presumed dead, Allen's Taylor played the psychologist when she tried to dissuade Sheila from jumping off the hospital roof. However, later when she learned that Sheila had shot at her daughter and son-in-law, she pitched in to get the perpetrator punished.
The relief of finding Finn return from the dead in France brought Taylor and Ridge close. With aid from her children, the former couple decided to renew their vows. However, during the wedding, Ridge learned that his son Thomas had manipulated him into dumping Brooke, and he broke up the wedding.
When Krista Allen was portraying Taylor Hayes, her decades-long feud with Brooke briefly dissolved. After Ridge dumped her to rush to Brooke, the latter also rejected him. With this, the two women decided to suspend the rivalry and stay on friendly terms. However, Taylor pushed Deacon to tempt Brooke while badmouthing her to Ridge herself. This called off the truce.
Allen's Taylor was last seen on The Bold and the Beautiful in November 2023, advising Deacon to stay away from the untrustworthy Sheila. She also provided her children with support and words of wisdom before traveling away again. 2024 on the soap saw, Rebecca Budig recast into the character.
