General Hospital fans have been wondering if Jake Webber will leave the soap as the character's current storyline involves him possibly moving to Spain to attend art school. This has raised the question of whether this is the last time Jake (played by Hudson West) will appear in the story.

Jake Webber's current storyline revolves around his acceptance into an art school in Spain. He lives with his mother Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and is hoping to fund his way to college. Meanwhile, his father, Jason Morgan, is back in Port Charles and has decided to be a better father to Jake.
Jason is about to leave some money for Jake's college tuition at Elizabeth's door when she sees him and calls him inside to have a conversation with his son. He explains to Jake that the money is not a favor, and doesn't have strings attached. It is just a way of being a more present father in his son's life.
Jason feels guilty for being an absent father and for putting his family through a lot of emotional turmoil when he goes missing in action. Even though Lucky Spencer is Jake's legal father, Jason feels a responsibility towards his child.
Though Jake and Jason have had their differences, they seem to have reached a point of forgetting them and moving on. Jake hugs his father and they both share a moment.
