Michael Easton plays Hamilton Finn on General Hospital. Lately, he has been going through a downward spiral in the show as a result of losing his father, Gregory Chase. The character was eventually sent to rehab and hasn't been heard from since.
However, this changed on September 14, with Harrison Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine contemplating starting a family of their own. During this conversation, Chase mentioned that they wouldn't have to take care of Violet Finn for long, given that Hamilton is due to leave rehab in a month.
Michael Easton has not returned to General Hospital as of yet. However, the mention of Finn potentially leaving rehab opens up the possibility of him being involved in further storylines down the road.

Michael Easton has played Hamilton Finn on General Hospital since the character's introduction to the soap on March 21, 2016. The actor, has also played other characters on General Hospital and its spin-off Port Charles, including Michael Morley, Caleb Morley, and Dr. Silas Clay.
Hamilton Finn was an acquaintance of Dr. Monica Quartermaine and first came to Port Charles to help out Tracy Quartermaine, her sister-in-law. He also had a pet lizard named Roxy that he carried with him.
Hamilton diagnosed Tracy Quartermaine with brain worms that she'd contracted on a trip to Mexico. In 2016, he revealed the tragic news to Hayden Barnes that he was a dying man.
In December 2016, Hamilton developed a romance with Hayden, after the two contracted Blackwood's syndrome and were cured of the nearly fatal condition. In May 2017, Hamilton and Hayden became suspicious about someone tampering with his drug results, prompting Hayden to give her own sample and see if the test came out positive.
While Hayden did indeed test positive, the test also ended up revealing her pregnancy. She was initially uncertain about whether or not she should keep the baby, but after Hamilton committed to being there for her no matter what, she decided to go through with having the child.
Finn and Hayden had planned to marry in September 2017. However, Hayden suddenly left town, leaving behind a note claiming her child had died in the womb. This would later turn out to be a lie.
Following this, Finn was blackmailed by Anna Devane into helping her in her schemes against Cassandra Price.
Finn Hamilton eventually reconnected with Hayden in October 2019, when he was called in to treat a sick girl. Hayden revealed that this girl was none other than his own daughter, Violet Hamilton. Finn successfully treated Violet for her fever and promised to be there for her, but was furious at Hayden for leaving him and lying about her miscarriage.
His life would take a drastic turn for the worse after the death of his father, Gregory Chase. Finn struggled to cope with this tragic development and fell into a spiral of addictions. This estranged him from his daughter, Violet, who was then placed in the care of the married couple Harrison Chase and Brook Lynn.
With Chase mentioning that Finn might be leaving rehab soon, it's entirely possible that Violet may once again return to the custody of her biological father.
