The popular Days of Our Lives character Nicole Walker is set to exit the soap at the end of this month. Amid an ugly separation from her husband EJ and sharing the secret about Jude with Eric, Nicole already has many difficulties in her current storyline.
Nicole's exit is confirmed since Arianne Zucker, the actress playing the part, did not receive a renewed contract from the production company behind Days of Our Lives. The contract negotiations took place in 2023 after Zucker filed a harassment lawsuit against one of the company's former executives. Zucker alleges that the suit became a reason behind the failed negotiations, while Corday Productions maintains that a thorough investigation was conducted.
Arianne Zucker stopped filming for the soap in February. Since the team films nearly six months in advance, her character Nicole's story is concluding now on the show.

Why is actress Arianne Zucker leaving Days of Our Lives?
Actress Arianne Zucker, who plays Nicole on Days of Our Lives, was fired from the soap back in February 2024. She claims her exit was the soap's retaliation to her filing a lawsuit against them in 2023.
Zucker filed a lawsuit with many complaints against then-executive Albert Alarr. One of these complaints included harassment and creating an unsafe workplace environment on set. According to Zucker, no action was taken between March and June 2023, when she made the complaints. Alarr was fired from his position on set later in August 2023.
After this, when Zucker needed to negotiate the terms of her contract renewal with production, she alleges she was given a poor deal with no negotiation. However, in an interview for TMZ, a spokesperson for Corday Productions claimed that Zucker made a counteroffer on the contract that was simply rejected, but there was room for negotiation. After this, Arianne Zucker's contract was terminated, and she stopped shooting for the soap.
