The Bold and the Beautiful has been focusing on the war between the Logans and the Forresters when it comes to ownership and control of the Forrester Creations. The soap has introduced a new player in the storyline: Daphne Rose.
Daphne Rose has been introduced as a perfumer from Paris, who is looking to work with Hope and Carter. However, it has been revealed that Daphne also has ties with Steffy, and might be the key for the Forresters to undermine Hope and Carter, and get their company back.

What happened during the scene with Daphne Rose on The Bold and the Beautiful?
The Daphne Rose scene on The Bold and the Beautiful began at Forrester Creations, where Hope Logan and Carter Walton discussed their new perfume line. Fanny Greyson made an appearance at their office to bring them fragrance samples to test. Just then, Carter received an alert that the famous Paris perfumer Daphne Rose was in the building.
Hope and Carter immediately arranged a meeting with Daphne, asking her if she had any samples for them to consider. Daphne took off her neck scarf and waved it around in the air for them to smell her perfume. Carter and Hope marvelled at the new scent, liking it. Daphne declared that she would remain in town for a few days in case they wanted to offer her a square deal for the fragrance to be added to the Forrester Creations' line.
As Hope and Carter decided that they should work with Daphne, the scene switched to the Forrester family's cliff house. Daphne walked in and hugged an old friend: Steffy Forrester. Then, Steffy and Daphne discussed how she would be the key player in taking down Hope and Carter's hold on Forrester Creations from the inside.
It is likely that the subsequent storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful will follow how Daphne uses her position in the company to provide Steffy some leverage instead. Additionally, at the end of the most recent episode, Steffy also hinted that Daphne might try and seduce Carter, making Hope even more vulnerable to an unexpected blow.
