Former Days of Our Lives cast members Arianne Zucker and Shawn Christian tied the knot last week. The couple announced their wedding on August 23, 2024, through Instagram posts on their respective accounts. They shared pictures of their first dance as husband and wife.

The post was immediately flooded with congratulatory messages from their co-stars and fans. Many appreciated the candid first dance depicted in the pictures, while others wished the couple well for their future as married partners. One user excitedly commented on the post:

Shawn Christian and Arianne Zucker's characters on Days of Our Lives explored

Shawn Christian and Arianne Zucker were co-stars on the NBC soap Days of Our Lives. Christian played the role of Dr. Daniel Jonas on the show. The character worked at Salem Hospital and treated many of the characters on the show for their ailments. He exited the role in 2017 when his character was killed off in a car accident.

Arianne Zucker played Nicole Walker and recently made her exit in 2024. Her character got a romantic happy ending in the story when she moved out of town with her love interest, Eric, to raise their son. Initially, the character faced much resistance and threats from her former husband. EJ, but she managed to find love.

Interestingly, Nicole also had a brief romantic relationship with Daniel. They were involved in an intimate relationship when they developed feelings for each other. However, the two characters started to have differences over Daniel's ex-girlfriend entering his life again. They broke up after Nicole's pregnancy and miscarriage. It was later revealed that Nicole and Daniel had a daughter via surrogate, named Holly Jonas.

Currently, Arianne Zucker is at loggerheads with the production team of Days of Our Lives. She has filed a lawsuit against Corday Productions with allegations of harassment and inappropriate behavior on set. She also alleged that the suit led to her failed contract negotiations and wrongful termination from the soap.

However, Corday Productions has denied these allegations and stated that all necessary measures were taken to investigate the assault charge.
