Trina Ali, who plays the role of Trina in General Hospital, recently clapped back at social media trolls who left mean comments on one of her Instagram posts. The actress is aware of the pros and cons of social media, where she can easily connect with fans while also attracting some negativity. Like other celebrities and soap actors, she has also faced her fair share of online trolls and haters.

The actress attended the 51st Daytime Emmy Awards on June 9, 2024, and uploaded pictures of herself to Instagram. While many fans appreciated her dress and her overall look, others left some racist and hateful comments on her pictures. However, the actress shut down the haters with her response where she directly addressed her haters.

She took to X on June 10, 2024, to call out the haters, and address them, saying that she hoped they had "peace, safety, and prosperity."

The General Hospital star's message to her haters and trolls was appreciated by fans, who lauded her for being understanding and kind.

General Hospital star Tabyana Ali's powerful message to her haters

Actress Tabyana Ali, who plays the role of Trina in General Hospital, attended the Daytime Emmy Awards on June 9, 2024. However, when she uploaded pictures from the event to Instagram, she had to deal with trolls who left hateful comments on the platform.

The actress, according to her fans, dealt with the hate gracefully and kindly as she took to X to respond to the comments. She said that when one sees hateful or mean comments online, they should reply with the mirror emoji, as it might make the haters think about what they are saying. She noted that it might even potentially stop them from being so negative. Her approach to dealing with trolls showed fans that she aimed to create a positive online community.

Tabyana's fans supported her call for kindness with messages on her social media. She also made it clear to her fans that responding to hate with more hate wasn't the way to go.

Ali wrote that it was the last time she would speak on the topic, adding that "we cannot be feeding into people's hate." She added that "it doesn't help" if they stooped down to the rude and racist people's levels.

"We cannot be giving it back. We cannot stoop to rude/racist people’s level. It doesn’t help. We are fighting too many wars as it is. I believe we will have our world peace, but we got to find another way to fight," she went on to say.

The General Hospital star also says it probably comes from their own unhappiness.

"I’m sorry that this is the way you feel like you have to be seen. I’m sorry that life isn’t happening how you want. But if you found something you loved to do other than hurting people, you would never have the energy to say what you’ve been saying to people online! I promise life is more beautiful and peaceful and full when you give people and yourself love," Ali added.

The General Hospital actress noted that she understood how online negativity works in cycles, stating that she doesn't feed into it. Instead, she encourages a more positive conversation and actively works to break the cycle of hate. The soap opera star suggests finding different ways to address negativity, like ignoring it or responding with kindness, to create more meaningful results.
