Recently, COO Carter Walton has taken over Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, his budding affair with Hope Logan has the Forresters paint Hope as the chief conspirator. With Steffy and Ridge bent upon piling blame on Hope, calling her names, Brooke has been desperate to shield her daughter. This is putting a strain on Ridge and Brooke's marriage.
The Bold and the Beautiful is famous for presenting business battles since its premiere in March 1987. The long-running CBS daily soap, which centers its storyline on the Forrester family's fashion business, extends to include interactions with other families such as the Logans and the Spencers. Throughout the long storyline, Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan remained a romantic couple.
The current plot dynamics have caused a rift in the romance of the super couple, Ridge and Brooke. Ridge's insistence on blaming Hope for Carter's hostile takeover of the company, found Brooke fiercely protecting her daughter. The soap's fans have also taken sides in the feud.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Current plot dynamics between Brooke and Ridge
As soon as Brooke Logan overheard Carter Walton and Hope Logan conspiring to take over Forrester Creations, she rushed to her husband, Ridge Forrester, and spilled everything. A shocked Ridge called Carter into his room and demanded to know the reason for the backstabbing. Assuming Hope was behind Carter's move, Ridge offered to put the betrayal behind him if Carter broke up with Hope.
While Carter went ahead with the coup, the enraged Forresters, Ridge, Eric, and Steffy engaged in a wrathful argument. While Eric questioned Carter's integrity, both Ridge and Steffy Forrester criticized Hope Logan for the same. Ridge proceeded to speak scathingly to Hope in front of Brooke and called her names.
As the couple discussed the situation in their room, Brooke pleaded with Ridge to stop blaming Hope. Ridge, on the other hand, continued to accuse Brooke's daughter recalling all of Hope's past failed relationships. He vowed to stop Hope once and for all.

What would Ridge and Brooke's future likely be?
As the current plot dynamics suggest, Ridge Forrester finds Hope unforgivable since she and Carter stole his company from his family. Brooke, on the other hand, believes Steffy is wrong to target Hope and that Carter called the coup, not Hope.
Moreover, Brooke is appalled that Ridge is insulting her daughter in front of her. Ridge's disregard for her will sour Brooke's marriage, creating a leeway for Taylor Hayes to return to Ridge.
While Ridge and the other Forresters will draw together to try and take back their family business, Brooke may consider siding with her daughter in an attempt to shield her from the Forrester's wrath. The other Logans, Katie, and Donna may contemplate supporting Brooke, Hope, and Carter.
Ridge has already asked lawyer Justin to look for ways to challenge the LLC documents that made Carter Walton the CEO of the company. As such, Forrester Creations may get locked into litigation for some time now.
