Tessa Porter of The Young and the Restless is facing imminent danger now that Ian Ward has planned to work his evil charm on her. Cait Fairbanks plays Tessa, who fell victim to Ian's plan when, out of the blue, she had an asthma attack and was saved by Ian. When Mariah and Nick arrive to take Tessa to safety, they recognize her benefactor.

While The Young and the Restless audience knows that Ian confided to co-conspirator Jordan Howard about using Tessa when he found Mariah, Tessa and Claire were close to each other. The Young and the Restless: What story arc put Tessa and Ian together?

As fans already know, criminals Ian Ward and Jordan Howard came back to town to avenge their imprisonments as well as get back their heirs and scions. After their initial plan involving Sharon Newman, Heather Stevens, and Phyllis Summers did not turn out as successful as they deemed, Ian noticed Mariah, Tessa, and Claire sharing a friendly chat.

Ian decided to target and manipulate Tessa Porter, who did not know him, to get to Mariah Copeland. His first attempt saw him helping a gasping Tessa when she had an asthma attack out of nowhere. While Mariah and Nick realized the good samaritan was the criminal Ian, Tessa seemed too dazed to take in any warning.

Subsequent The Young and the Restless episodes saw Ian around Tessa, trying to remind her of his help. While Abby Newman and Mariah specifically shooed Ian off and alerted Tessa about his evil nature, the latter seems to be feeling gratitude towards the manipulator. As such, Tessa will likely be easy to break for Ian.

The Young and the Restless: What is the likely plot involving Tessa and Ian Ward?

So far on The Young and the Restless, Ian Ward has managed to manipulate Tessa into feeling gratitude for saving her. Although Tessa seems to be taking in Mariah and Abby's advice, she is reluctant to brand Ian as an evil person.

She may believe his story of reformation and would be ready to give him another chance. With Tessa under his thumb, it would be easy for Ian to exploit Mariah, particularly if he threatened to hurt Tessa or baby Aria.

On the other hand, Jordan Howard is getting desperate to reconnect with Claire. As such, she is not ready to wait till Ian decides to help her. She may go ahead with her own separate plan.

If Jordan and Ian's plans become counter-productive for each other, they may fail.

Moreover, Jordan has kept Sharon alive, something Ian is not aware of. If Sharon manages to free herself from her confinement and the law enforcers find her alive, she will endanger Jordan and Ian's evil schemes.
