Carter Walton, played by actor Lawrence Saint-Victor, is the current focus of the storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful. The character has been involved in transferring ownership of Forrester Creations to himself to avenge his girlfriend Hope Logan.
Hope and Carter were initially a part of Forrester Creations on the soap, with Carter in the legal department and Hope running her fashion line Hope for the Future under the brand name. Hope and Carter began a relationship but kept it secret since they did not want to disclose their bond with anyone in the company. This became the root cause of misunderstandings later in the story.
Hope was trying on some outfits and nightdresses in the fashion office to try and impress Carter. During this, Steffy Forrester's husband Finn Finnegan walked in to give Steffy her laptop. Hope could not reveal that she was trying on the nightdresses for Carter, not Finn, causing the misunderstanding to grow deeper.
Angry at these developments, Carter came up with a scheme to dismantle Forrester Creations and re-launch Hope's line. He had Ridge sign an inconspicuous document that transferred ownership to him.
