Even though she broke up with Ridge after his dalliance with his ex Taylor Hayes, Brooke seems to be softening towards Ridge once more, keeping hope for the love that the two once shared.

After the recent development of Steffy Forrester returning to Forrester Creations, Brooke shall be seen firm in her belief that Ridge might return too, paving the way for the couples to patch up their soured relations. Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester have had a tumultuous relationship on The Bold and the Beautiful for the past few weeks. It all began when Brooke's daughter Hope got fired from Forrester Creations due to a misunderstanding with Ridge's daughter Steffy. Ridge took Steffy's side and supported the firing, while Brooke believed that Hope was right and should have been given a chance to present her version of the story.

Then, Hope paired with Carter Walton to organize a coup against Forrester Creations. With an inadvertently signed legal document, the Forresters lost control of their own company to Hope and Carter. This made Ridge upset with Brooke too, and became the main cause for tension between the couple. Initially, the couple just fought, but soon the rift between them started to grow.

Initially, Brooke wanted to get Ridge back and tried many things to convince Hope to let him come back to the company. But, upon finding that Ridge had returned to his ex Taylor Hayes, Brooke felt disrespected and ended the relationship, claiming that she needed to be with someone who truly loved her. She walked out on Ridge and Taylor, making the breakup official at last.

However, Steffy Forrester has returned to Forrester Creations, convincing Hope and Carter to take her back on. She proposed the new title of “president” for herself this time. Though the Logans were wary of this development, Steffy still made her way in. Spoilers indicate that this might be the reason Brooke hopes Ridge might return too.
