The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Could Jack’s return spark a renewed romance with Brooke?

The Bold and the Beautiful has been focusing on an intense battle between the Logans and the Forresters for the past many weeks, resulting in many falling outs between the characters of the two families. One of the equations that took a hit was the relationship between Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan.

After feeling betrayed by Hope Logan's coup against Forrester Creations, Ridge blamed the series of events on Brooke and broke it off with her. He also got into a relationship with his ex, Taylor Hayes, soon after. This made Brooke even more upset with Ridge.

As per TV Insider's January 2 report, head writer and executive producer Bradley Bell revealed that the character Jack Finnegan, played by Ted King, will be returning to the soap in 2025. It is possible that this new entry into town might bring some possibilities of romance for Brooke, and for her to finally move on from Ridge.

What happened between Ridge and Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester were in a relationship on The Bold and the Beautiful when Brooke's daughter Hope got fired from Forrester Creations. Ridge sided with his daughter Steffy regarding the decision, while Brooke believed Hope had been treated unfairly. This became the main cause of the tension between the couple.

Then, Hope paired with Carter Walton to orchestrate a coup against the company and oust the Forresters. This made Ridge upset with Brooke, breaking things off. Brooke wanted to get Ridge back and tried to get her daughter to reverse the coup too. But, upon finding that Ridge had returned to his ex Taylor, Brooke felt more heartbroken.

Now that the relationship between the two seems estranged, at least till the Forrester-Logan feud ends, Brooke might be looking for some support. As spoilers indicate, Jack Finnegan is set to return to town, making it likely that he might be the person that she turns to. The two are in the same age group and have previously been unlucky in love, which might make them an interesting pairing.

However, if Brooke and Jack were to get into a relationship, the loopholes would not end. Jack is the father of Finn Finnegan, who is Steffy Forrester's husband. Steffy might certainly have a negative reaction when she realises that Brooke would be dating her father-in-law.

In a chain reaction, it would also impact her relationship with Finn. It remains to be seen how Jack's return changes the dynamics and lives of the characters in The Bold and the Beautiful.
