The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Is Luna the new Sheila?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that the story isn't done with Luna Nozawa's character just yet. Luna was arrested for the murders of Tom and Hollis, and for then blaming the murders on her own mother Poppy. Additionally, Luna kept Steffy Forrester imprisoned when her cousin in-law seemed to poke a little too much into Luna's schemes.

Much of Luna's ruthlessness can be traced parallely to another character: Sheila Carter. The longtime villainess has lied, stolen, murdered and even faked her death during her storyline. Now that Sheila seems relatively settled in her life, the soap might be setting up Luna to take on the mantle.

What makes Luna a dangerous character parallel to Sheila on The Bold and the Beautiful?

The Bold and the Beautiful saw one of its most infamous characters Sheila Carter return earlier this year in the storyline. However, she seems to be reformed and integrated into a familial setup as Sheila Sharpe. Though there is always a chance that the character might be up to something nefarious, the soap also has a backup murderess that compares to Sheila: Poppy's daughter Luna.

Many viewers might be able to draw comparisons between Luna's killings and kidnappings, contrasting them against Sheila's own misdeeds. Sheila was responsible for the murder of Lance Day with bee stings, which was certainly a cruel way to go. However, Luna starving and mentally torturing her own cousin in-law Steffy in a cage was similarly difficult to watch.

Luna also murdered Tom and Hollis, two people she believed were getting in the way of her bond with Bill Spencer. Her ruthless nature is another quality that also defined Sheila for most of her life.

Additionally, Sheila was around Luna's age when her propensity for crime increased. She left her house burning with two women in her family inside. Similarly, it is clear that Luna has no qualms doing the same, since she willingly pinned the blame for homicide on her own mother Poppy.

Fans are using these comparisons to speculate that Luna might break out of prison just like Sheila did. Luna might take advantage of one of the prison guards and either bribe or seduce her way out of captivity. This would leave her free to return to town at an unexpected time, with vengeance for anyone who "wronged" her.

Most importantly, Luna appears to be obsessed with having Bill Spencer's love. Initially, it was as a fatherly bond, but the audience is yet to know whether Bill is truly Luna's biological dad. Adding a layer to the already complex equation, Luna has also kissed Bill, making her obsession with him deeper.

If Luna does escape from prison, she might pose a much greater risk than Sheila, even. At the moment, Sheila is settled into her life and seems to revolve around her family’s acceptance and love. But Luna could unflinchingly put people at risk, especially those whom she considers rivals between her and Bill.
