Murielle Hilaire's Daphne Rose is set to create storms on The Bold and the Beautiful as she takes over executing Steffy's plan in Forrester Creations's office. The character was introduced in 2025 as an accomplice of Steffy Forrester. As Steffy had planned, Carter, Brooke, and Hope were taken in by the fragrance expert's charms.

Daphne is the latest addition to the long-running CBS daily soap, which premiered in March 1987. Her entry connects to a revenge scheme by the Forrester heir, Steffy, after Carter Walton and the Logans took away the family business through an internal coup. This came about after Steffy's high-handed decision to fire Hope over a misunderstanding.

As per the current plot of The Bold and the Beautiful, the Forresters are realigning themselves to take back their company while Carter and the Logans hope to run it successfully, except for Brooke Logan. Brooke wants to give Ridge Forrester his company back.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Why did Steffy bring in Daphne Rose?

Daphne Rose, played by Murielle Hilaire, is a renowned fragrance expert from Paris, and also Steffy's friend. Knowing Carter Walton's plans to expand Forrester Creations from a dressmaking business to a luxury brand, Steffy asked Daphne to pitch her perfume at Forrester's.

As expected, Daphne's perfume won the bid over another contender, Fanny. However, Steffy's plan is not just planting Daphne as an insider in the company, but also to break apart the Carter-Hope romance. As such, she has recruited Daphne to seduce Carter Walton and drive a wedge between the office romance.

While Steffy believes a rift between Carter and Hope would get the company back to the Forresters, Daphne agrees to fall in with her plans only for friendship's sake.

Whether Ridge, Eric and Taylor also share Steffy's opinion remains unknown. However, Steffy recently offered to rejoin Forrester's as the President.

The Bold and the Beautiful: What actions may Daphne take in the future?

As of now, Daphne knows she has to allure Carter away from Hope which, as Steffy believes, would lead to the Forresters taking over. However, a rift between Carter and Hope does not ensure a fall for the company.

Moreover, Carter may not get seduced easily. He has had a string of romances in the past and may want to stay loyal to Hope.

In such a scenario, Daphne will need to improvise. She may consider planting a seed of doubt in Hope and working on that. On the other hand, she may get enamored by Finn Finnegan and want to romance him. This would be a scenario that Steffy would find shocking considering Daphne is a friend and she brought Daphne to town.

The Bold and the Beautiful's head writer, Bradley Bell, told to TVInsider in an interview published on January 2, 2025, that the stable marriage of Steffy and Finn will face another test in the upcoming episodes. It could be Daphne because loyal Finn has so far not strayed for anyone in town.

If Daphne comes after Finn, and he reports it back to his wife as he did during Hope's kiss, Steffy is not likely to believe it. This may cause a strain on their mutual trust. Whether Daphne ties in with Carter or Finn remains to be seen.
