Forrester Creations is going through a coup on The Bold and the Beautiful, and there is a tussle between the Forrester family and the new heads. As expected, Eric, Ridge, and Steffy Forrester are furious with Carter Walton for tricking them into signing off the company. However, Ridge and Steffy blame Hope Logan for the betrayal.
Since its premiere in March 1987, The Bold and the Beautiful has presented surprising twists in its storyline. The long-running CBS daily soap revolves around the Forrester family's haute couture business and extends to involve the company's associates, the Logans, and its rivals, the Spencers.
In the current dynamics, Hope Logan, a longtime designer at Forrester Creations, encouraged the company's COO, Carter Walton, to trick the family and take over the company. The duo believes this change would benefit the company in the long run. However, the Forresters exclusively blamed Hope for the backstab and even asked Carter to break all association with Hope.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge continues to blame Hope
As seen from the time Brooke Logan informed Ridge about the coup, the latter was fixated on the idea that Hope Logan was behind this. As many fans of The Bold and the Beautiful believe, Ridge might be influenced by Steffy's opinion about Hope. The last time the two women interacted was when Steffy Forrester fired Hope Logan from the company, and Ridge backed his daughter.
However, after learning about the betrayal from his trusted friend, the company's COO, Carter Walton, Ridge Forrester jumped to the conclusion that it was Hope's idea. Moreover, Brooke informed Ridge that Carter and Hope indulged in a budding office romance. As such, he offered to dismiss Carter's betrayal if he broke off his romance with Hope.
Since Carter stood his ground and supported Hope, the Forresters tried to shame him for letting Hope's manipulations overwhelm him. The criticism spilled out of Forrester's office as Ridge found Hope and Brooke outside the room and verbally attacked Hope. While Brooke tried to stop Ridge's appalling behavior, Carter's forceful protest made Ridge storm away from Hope.
As The Bold and the Beautiful episode, dated December 11, 2024, showed, Ridge called Hope's influence a sob story. He warned how Carter would hate her like others:
"And man, he's going to hate you for it. The same way everyone else hates you."
He further threatened her:
"I'm not going to let you get away with this."
When Ridge questioned Carter about what Hope did to push him to feel like a hero, Hope simply replied:
"I love him."
To Steffy's attacks, Hope said,
"Your blatant disregard for what forced our hand."
Away at the Forrester mansion, Ridge continued to accuse Brooke's daughter for Ridge losing the family business.
The Bold and the Beautiful: What may come out of Ridge's finger-pointing?
Brooke Logan displayed her loyalty towards Ridge and Forrester Creations by whistleblowing the coup as soon as she overheard about it. However, Carter was faster and smarter in filing the LLC papers, which put him in charge of the company. While Ridge appointed lawyer Justin to overrule the coup, Carter's move was legally correct and, hence, irrefutable.
While Carter Walton is slated to take over the company's reins, Ridge Forrester and his daughter, Steffy, have been accusing Hope Logan of backstabbing. Although Brooke has been opposing the attack on her daughter, the Forresters do not seem to relent.
After Ridge's hostile vilification of Hope in front of her and away in his mansion, Brooke may take offense to Ridge's stance. A distraught Eric Forrester is expected to side with his son and granddaughter since he would view Hope as the co-conspirator with Carter. As such, Brooke may find herself alone in the Forrester mansion.
