The Forrester family is currently in a power struggle for their own company with another family: the Logans. Carter Walton, seeking revenge for his girlfriend Hope Logan, stole Forrester Creations from Ridge and appointed Hope and her mother, Brooke, to significant positions.

This incident occurred after Steffy Forrester fired Hope because of a misunderstanding that she was trying to seduce her husband, Finn Finnegan. Hope's fashion line at the company, Hope for the Future, was also shut down, with Ridge supporting his daughter during the entire decision-making process. This made Carter act against the Forresters on behalf of his girlfriend.

The Bold and the Beautiful has been exploring this for the past few weeks, with Brooke's guilt and hesitation at the center.
