The Forrester family has been fighting a battle against the Logan family over Forrester Creations for the past few weeks on The Bold and the Beautiful. The story began when Steffy suspected Hope of having feelings for her husband, Finn Finnegan.
At the time, Hope was secretly dating Carter and could not reveal it. Owing to this misunderstanding, Steffy fired Hope from Forrester Creations. Even though Hope and her mother Brooke tried to resolve the situation, Steffy refused to budge from her stand.
Angry at this unfair development against his girlfriend, Carter used his position in the legal department of the company to dupe Ridge Forrester into signing a document that transferred ownership of Forrester Creations to Carter and Hope. By doing so, Carter and Hope removed the Forresters from power. After this coup, the Logans took over the company.
Since then, the Forrester family has been trying to regain their lost position at their own company, with even Eric Forrester getting involved in the proceedings. Steffy recently came up with a plan to use her friend and famous perfumer, Daphne Rose, to seduce Carter and undermine Hope at the company.
