The Bold and the Beautiful: Taylor will open up to Steffy
As Dr. Grace Buckingham told Taylor and Ridge, too many emotional scars and bottled-up feelings gave her Broken Heart Syndrome, a disease that mimicked heart failure symptoms. However, Taylor, played by Rebecca Budig, did not want anyone to know that she was dying, particularly her children. She told Ridge as much when her condition got exposed before him.
Ridge was determined to help with her treatment and arranged an unusual session, as The Bold and the Beautiful episode, dated October 14, 2024, showed. He visited Taylor at the Cliff House to help her relax and unburden her heart "chakra" with the help of the expert, Shandra.
As instructed by Shandra, the steps and methods included intimate moves as Taylor sobbed out her emotions. Feeling light and unburdened, Taylor thanked Ridge for helping her heal the broken heart. She further decided not to keep her condition a secret.
