Forrester Creations, the center of all action in The Bold and the Beautiful, is going through an unexpected upheaval. The company's COO, Carter Walton, and the ousted designer, Hope Logan, have taken over the company legally, albeit immorally.
While Carter believes his move will benefit the company, the Forresters are furious about losing their family business to an outsider. As expected, they will not give up without a fight, while the Logan family members may choose to side with Hope, raising the stakes of the ensuing drama.
The Bold and the Beautiful premiered on CBS in March 1987. The American soap revolves around the Forrester family's fashion business, which has input from the Logan family and ongoing feuds with the Spencer family.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Forresters and Logans remain locked in a power struggle
Carter Walton has submitted the LLC documents, in which he signed his name as the manager of Forrester Creations. Co-CEOs Ridge and Steffy trusted him and signed the papers. With this, Carter legally became the head of the company, as lawyer Justin emphasized.
Steffy Forrester considered this a hostile takeover. Ridge Forrester, who thought of Carter as a friend, was too shocked to believe the latter would betray him. As such, Ridge piled all the blame on Carter's current love interest, Hope Logan. This reflected Steffy's views since she had fired Hope recently, closing her design line.
The Forrester father-daughter duo are convinced that Hope manipulated Carter into stealing the company as revenge for her dismissal. Ridge proposes to forgive Carter's betrayal on the condition that he ends his relationship with his ladylove. However, Carter refuses to accept it, causing both Ridge and Steffy to accuse Hope and call her names.
In this scenario, Carter has ascended to the position of CEO. However, he may have too much firefighting to do before he can run the company as he wishes. As mentioned before, the Forresters will not give up without a fight. Eric, Ridge, and Steffy will pull all ropes to dislodge Carter.

The Bold and the Beautiful: What are the issues Carter is likely to encounter?
The new CEO is likely to face much resistance from the staff and friends. To start with, Zende Forrester, who was a designer for Hope Logan's Hope for the Future line, was privy to the current dynamics on The Bold and the Beautiful episode, dated December 12, 2024.
As he took in all the information handed out to him by Carter and Hope, Zende accused the duo of stealing Forresters while the former asked Zende to continue as Hope's lead designer. The young designer summed up how Carter and Hope were involved in a secret office romance. When Steffy Forrester fired Hope over a misunderstanding, the couple retaliated by taking over the company.
Zende Forrester did not look too pleased with the situation and was quick to point out that it was his family's company as well. Given the circumstances, he may want to side with his family. Eric, Ridge, and Steffy will likely leave the company, and so will Zende in the future episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful.
This will make it difficult for Carter since, with the best designers gone, the company may crumble. Moreover, Ridge and Steffy will look for opportunities to corner Hope and make her pay, which will lead to constant tussles to keep Carter and Hope away from the business.

Finally, the rest of the staff may also cause trouble for the new management. They may see Carter as a backstabber and not respect him and Hope. On the other hand, if Brooke Logan chooses to stand up for her daughter, there is a possibility that the other Logan sisters, Katie and Donna, will support Hope and Carter.
Moreover, Ivy Forrester dislikes Steffy's attitude and may find the coup justified. If Ivy's jewelry design line continues, Electra Forrester and Will Spencer will remain with the company. However, with this divide, the upcoming episodes will see high-stakes drama on The Bold and the Beautiful.
