Caitlin Ramirez was introduced on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2004 as the daughter of Samantha Kelly and Hector Ramirez. Caitlin believed that her mother died while giving birth and was shown to have a lot of repressed guilt because of it.

Upon her introduction, Caitlin secured an internship position at Forrester Creations and grew close to Thomas Forrester. Her father, Hector, did not like the Forrester family and asked her to leave, but she continued in her position in secret. Eventually, Hector forced her to quit and join Brooke Logan's design company.

In a sudden plot twist, Caitlin started working with a woman named Samantha, who was revealed to be her mother, previously thought to be dead. After her parents reunited, Caitlin started a romantic relationship of her own with Thomas Forrester. However, she also grew close to Rick Forrester and began dating him on the side, too.

Later, Thomas found out about the affair and broke up with Caitlin. She thought she would now be able to properly pursue a relationship with Rick. However, the two were not able to commit to each other properly, forcing their breakup as well.

After this, Caitlin was not seen on screen for a while. In a later episode, Hector revealed that she had moved away with her mother, Samantha. Caitlin Ramirez has not appeared on the show since her exit.
