Suspense is building up on The Young and the Restless as the Genoa City residents meet Jordan Howard and Ian Ward in different situations. Recently, Claire met Aunt Jordan outside the coffee shop. While surprised, Claire kept her wits intact and played on Jordan's psyche.
However, the young woman plans to end Jordan's evil deeds. Trained by Jordan herself, Claire can only think of killing off the sinner to put an end to sin. While a reformed citizen now, desperation has pushed Claire to consider murder as the solution to her problem. If she indulges in this dangerous move, it could jeopardize her future with Kyle and her mother's relationship.
The Young and the Restless is one of the longest-running CBS daily soaps airing on the channel since 1973. With the background of the fictional Genoa City, the storyline follows several resident families and their associations and rivalries.

The Young and the Restless: What happened when Claire met Jordan recently?
On Tuesday's The Young and the Restless episode dated January 14, 2025, Claire followed the person she believed was Aunt Jordan and came face-to-face with the criminal. The next episode found Claire Grace/Howard conversing with Jordan.
As Jordan Howard, played by Colleen Zenk, probed into Clair's thoughts about her stay with the Newmans, Claire played along with her aunt's psychology. She pretended to dislike the Newmans and manipulated Jordan into trusting her. The episode ended with Jordan crying and hugging her.
However, when Claire returned home, she spilled everything to her mother, Victoria, and her grandmother, Nikki, and both sworn to secrecy. Claire told them how she knew by experience that Jordan would not stop doing evil deeds. She then informed them of her decision to stop Jordan's evil acts by killing her off.
While this may surprise The Young and the Restless fans, they may remember that Claire was trained by Jordan and can be ruthless. As such, initially, Victoria Newman was shocked by the idea and refused to let Claire have blood on her hands.
However, a traumatized Nikki Newman decided to go along with Claire's plan. With the grandmother-granddaughter duo planning to end Jordan's free run, Victoria reluctantly joined forces with them. Moreover, they planned to keep their scheme a secret from the men in the family. They lied to Victor Newman when he asked what they were discussing.

The Young and the Restless: Who might be negatively affected by Claire's plan?
Since Nikki and Victoria have agreed to help Claire run her plan to success, they will likely not tell their partners, Victor Newman and Cole Howard. However, astute Victor may be the first one to discover the plan. He may even chastise Nikki and Claire for following along.
If Victor finds out about Claire's dangerous plot, Cole Howard will be negatively affected. For one, Jordan is Cole's aunt, and secondly, Cole is a peace-loving person. He had mediated when he found Jordan locked in Victor's basement. As such, he would not approve of any unlawful move.
Moreover, he may be shocked that Victoria not only allowed Claire to commit a crime but also agreed to pitch in. Additionally, the fact that he was not pulled into the ring of confidence would jeopardize Cole and Victoria's relationship. Since their reconnected romance is still in the early stages, it may be too fragile to sustain crimes and lack of trust.
When it comes to trust, Claire's budding romance with Kyle Abbott is still delicate. They connected only after Jordan was arrested, and Kyle's former wife and Harrison's mother, Summer, started trusting Claire with her son. As such, both Kyle and little Harrison believe in her.
This confidence will be shaken if Kyle learns that Claire is plotting a cold-blooded murder. While he may recognize her argument and the need to stop Jordan's crimes, he would be uncomfortable around someone capable of commiting a murder. This is likely to spell the end of the Claire-Kyle love story.
