The Young and the Restless: What happened in Heather's death scene?
In The Young and the Restless episode of Thursday, September 26, Sharon, went to Daniel's house to try to poison him to death. However, Heather found Sharon inside her house and cross-questioned her. This led to an altercation where Sharon begged to leave while Heather attempted to call the police.
As Sharon pushed Heather to the floor, The latter shouted at her. However, Sharon's vision turned hazy. Next, she found herself sitting while Heather was on the floor unresponsive despite calling and nudging. All through the time, Cameron's ghost was with Sharon and kept talking to her.
Cameron's apparition convinced Sharon that Heather was dead urging her to wrap up the body and dispose of it. Moreover, a scared Sharon was seen tidying up the crime scene, wiping off traces of blood, picking up shards of broken glass, and even, Heather's phone. The next episode of The Young and the Restless found a guilty Sharon confessing near Cassie's grave but resolving to keep quiet about everything.

The Young and the Restless: Why this could be a dream?
Fans think Sharon's guilt over killing Heather could be misplaced. Some cues point towards this. For one, as mentioned before, there is no word from Y&R production or the actor playing Heather, Vail Bloom, about her exit from the soap. This may mean that Heather is not really dead.
The second and more significant cue is Sharon's blackout. While it is not known how long she had been unconscious, her waking from it and finding Heather dead might be her figment of imagination.
After all, Sharon has been struggling mentally and has been seeing and conversing with Cameron for quite some time. In her current mental state, she may have passed out and dreamt that she killed Heather.
Longtime The Young and the Restless fans may remember that Sharon had killed and dumped Cameron in the past but he returned alive. As such, Sharon's guilty mind may have played out a similar situation about Heather, when nothing of the sort happened in real. This might explain Nick's quizzical question, "Confessed to what?" when Sharon informed her family that she confessed.
Whether Sharon hallucinated Heather's death completely or she actually dumped Heather's body in water is as yet unclear. Moreover, if she did dump the body in reality, whether Heather was dead or still alive is also not known for sure. However, the upcoming episodes will reveal the suspense.
Stay tuned to CBS on weekdays at 12.30 pm ET, to catch the unfolding drama surrounding the suspense about Heather's death and Sharon's role in it.
