The Young and the Restless spoilers: Jordan’s flimsy disguise doesn’t do much to hide her identity

The Young and the Restless is known for its iconic villains who add twists and turns to the lives of the characters in Genoa City. In the current storyline, the characters spreading chaos throughout town are Ian Ward and Jordan Howard.

Though the villains have mostly been successful in their plans at the moment, spoilers for the upcoming episodes of the week hint that things might not go so well for Jordan very soon. Her identity is finally set to be discovered, by none other than Claire Grace.

Claire was previously shown to be very worried when she realized that Ian was back in town. She even spoke to Nikki Newman about it, who reassured Claire that no harm would come to her. With this newest development on the soap, it remains to be seen how Claire will react to the woman who manipulated and emotionally tortured her, with the realization that Jordan is back in town.

What is Jordan doing on The Young and the Restless? Current plot dynamics explored

Jordan Howard returned to Genoa City with her partner in crime Ian Ward, and has been intent on creating havoc in town ever since. They started by drugging Sharon, making her hallucinate and even believe that she had killed Heather Stevens.

However, it was actually Ian who was responsible for the murder. Then, the villains orchestrated a car crash involving Phyllis Summers, which they also tried to pin on Sharon by playing on her conscience.

Recently, Jordan has also kidnapped Sharon in a ploy to make Phyllis look like she did away with her old rival for revenge. However, since the beginning, Jordan has made it clear that she expects Ian to hold up his end of the bargain and help her terrorize the Newman family, especially Claire. Jordan has reminded Ian of this many times in the storyline.

But, at present, Ian has not lived up to his promise or taken any steps to make that plan work out. Ian seems to be focused solely on Sharon and his plan to terrorize Mariah and Tessa. So, Jordan has merely kidnapped and imprisoned Sharon to use her as a bargaining chip instead of killing her as Ian asked.

Now, spoilers indicate that Jordan might take matters into her own hands after being recognized by Claire. It remains to be seen what plans Jordan had brewing at the back of her mind. It is also important to note how Claire reacts to Jordan's presence in Genoa City.
