The Young and The Restless: Jordan kidnaps Sharon on Ian's orders

On December 30, Sharon was knocked out by Jordan and kidnapped. It was revealed that Jordan was acting on Ian Ward's orders. Then, in the January 2 episode, Sharon is shown restrained and unconscious in Jordan's shady motel room.

Sharon faces not just one but two villains, so things do not look good for her. Meanwhile, Faith Newman, Mariah Copeland, and Nick Newman remain unaware that Sharon is in jeopardy, as they are more worried about Ian's return to the town.

Mariah is seen yelling at Ian to stay away from her wife, Tessa Porter. Mariah believes Ian tried to harm Tessa, but he claims he only helped her with an inhaler.

Nick sends Mariah away and warns Ian not to attempt any of his evil schemes. Ian defends himself, insisting he is a changed man and is looking to make amends.

During the New Year's Eve celebration, Faith realizes that Sharon is missing from the party. However, she assumes Sharon simply doesn’t want to leave the house for a public celebration. The family carries on with the festivities, having no reason to believe Sharon is in danger.

In the December 30 episode of The Young and The Restless, Phyllis attempts to enjoy a night out with her children but finds it impossible due to the presence of Christine Blair and Danny Romalotti.

She is bothered to see them sharing a romantic moment. Phyllis is further irritated when she sees Michael Baldwin and Lauren Fenmore interacting with her enemies.

Phyllis is already upset by her friends defending Sharon and is at odds with anyone who supports Sharon. This includes heated interactions she has with Sharon, Nick, Lauren, Michael, and even her son Daniel.

Phyllis storms out of the celebration because she is upset and unable to enjoy the gathering. She has never concealed her hatred for her long-time enemy, Sharon.

As Ian is aware of Phyllis's hatred for Sharon, it is plausible that he might order Jordan to murder Sharon and frame Phyllis for the crime.

However, it seems unlikely that Sharon will be killed, as Jordan could decide to hide Sharon as leverage. Jordan has been seen arguing with Ian for failing to fulfill his promises. This dissatisfaction might lead her to deviate from Ian's orders until he starts prioritizing her interests.
