Genoa City is set for more action-packed drama as criminals Ian Ward and Jordan Howard wreak havoc on The Young and the Restless through their joint criminal mission. As the duo plans to disrupt the peaceful lives of the resident families, they must confront a challenge when Victor Newman learns of their presence in town.
Fans of The Young and the Restless know that this long-running American soap focuses on the interpersonal dynamics of a few families in the fictional Genoa City. The CBS daily soap, which premiered in March 1973, features characters moving in and out of the storyline as needed.
Ian and Jordan are two such characters who have been in prison due to their criminal pasts. While Ian is out on parole, Jordan has escaped from prison. The duo seems to be involved in the murder of Heather Stevens as well as Phyllis's accident. The soap's preview shows Ian venturing out of the motel and into town.
The Young and the Restless: Ian Ward will go to town
Genoa City was rocked by Phyllis Summers' accident and Sharon Newman's confession to killing Heather, while Ian Ward and Jordan Howard were seen celebrating in a motel. Soon, egged on by Ian, Jordan ventured out into town in disguise. She wanted to know how Sharon's confession affected her family.
While Jordan Howard was spying on Faith Newman sitting dejectedly at the club, Claire Howard and Kyle Abbott came in. This put Jordan in trouble as she tried to hide her face from her niece, Claire. As Claire noticed a vaguely familiar-looking woman, Jordan had to retreat.
It is likely that Jordan would not be able to explain her situation to Ian Ward and may lie to him. However, The Young and the Restless preview shows Ian Ward dressed in a suit and black hat as he prepares to leave the motel. Jordan is likely urging him to go to town himself, and Ian takes her advice.
The duo has already caused much misery for Sharon, Phyllis, Daniel, and Nick. While Sharon's children, Mariah and Faith, are suffering, Phyllis's daughter, Summer, has broken off with her beau, Chance Chancellor, the policeman handling the case.
On one hand, Phyllis Summers is recuperating from a near-fatal accident, on the other hand, Sharon Newman, who suffers from bipolar disorder, has confessed to a crime that she does not remember doing. Meanwhile, Daniel Romalotti and his daughter, Lucy Romalotti, are devastated following Heather's death.

The Young and the Restless: What are Ian and Jordan's future likely to be?
As the preview shows, Ian Ward is finally going to the town to see the consequences of his actions and prepare for future crimes. Although Jordan is an expert at disguising herself, she may have pointed out how vulnerable her position would be if caught, since she escaped from prison.
Meanwhile, Ian can move around legally and would not be questioned if caught. However, he must avoid being caught by Victor Newman, his nemesis. Longtime fans of The Young and the Restless may remember that it was Victor who played a role in putting both criminals behind bars.
While it is clear that both Ian and Jordan want revenge on Victor and possibly plan to destroy his family and his business empire, the reason for killing Heather Stevens remains unclear.

As the preview reveals, Sharon's pills have been tested, and the results are out. The compound in her medicines likely indicates foul play. If Phyllis remembers the driver of the truck that caused her accident, both Ian and Jordan risk exposure. As such, Ian Ward may want to expedite his revenge and get at Victor sooner than expected.
However, it remains to be seen who else might become a scapegoat in his journey for revenge and how many lives he will destroy along the way.
Stay tuned to CBS to catch the upcoming drama on The Young and the Restless as Ian Ward goes about a revengeful rampage along with his sidekick, Jordan Howard.
