The Young and the Restless: Victor Newman protects the family's women
After Jordan Howard died in Friday's episode dated January 24, 2025, Victor Newman played the ideal citizen and called the police. While he did what was the right thing to do, he pulled Nikki aside and demanded to know what the three women were planning to do.
As such, Nikki Newman will likely tell him the schemes and plans that Claire made and had Nikki and Victoria onboard. She may also inform him that the three of them had planned to keep the men out of the loop. Victor may chastise them for not thinking the risks of the plan through.
However, Victor Newman, who is no stranger to peril will realize the pressing need Claire may have felt after identifying Jordan and finding her in town. As such, the Newman patriarch will take it upon himself to save the women from police interrogation.
He may change the sequence of events to keep Claire, Nikki, and Victoria's involvement out of the Jordan death episode. As The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest, he will want the authorities to think that Jordan came after Claire to the ranch and later took the sleeping pills when out of options.
The Young and the Restless: Mariah is worried about Ian's next move
Mariah Copeland is shocked to know how far Ian Ward will go to get to her. She was even more upset about Heather Stevens's murder since it seemed pointless just to frame Sharon. While she will continue to feel guilty for being the cause of Sharon's traumatic experience, she will try to gauge Ian's next move.
Mariah knows she has to protect Tessa from Ian since the latter has already started manipulating her wife. Her last interaction with Tessa was an altercation where Tessa was supporting Ian's claim of having reformed. In retaliation, Mariah said a few hurtful things to her wife that she regrets.
She will need Tessa on board with her opinions about Ian Ward as well as the latest information about his involvement in Heather's murder to convince Tessa about the impending dangers. However, Victor will vow to finish Ian's evil run forever leading to more twists in the storyline. Whether that helps Mariah save her family remains to be seen.
