Monday, October 28: The arrest
Chance arrived to arrest Daniel on suspicion of involvement in Heather's death. As Phyllis tried to stand up for her son, Christine arrived at the house and announced that she would act as Daniel's lawyer. To Phyllis' dismay, it was revealed that Daniel had hired her himself, causing friction between the two women due to their existing animosity.
Nikki spoke to Jack about his mental state following his split with Diane. She asked him to try to stay sober despite his tumultuous emotions, and Jack assured her that he would not fall off the wagon. Meanwhile, Victor called Diane and agreed to her proposal of teaming up to bring Jack down.
Tuesday, October 29: Is this about revenge?
Diane arrived at Victor's office to discuss her revenge plan against Jack and Kyle. They were interrupted by Nikki, who later chastised her husband for even listening to Diane in the first place. Meanwhile, Amy Lewis met with Nate to tell him that he has a half-brother.
Christine got Daniel out on bail and discussed their strategy for court. She then went to Phyllis and spoke to her about acquiring enough evidence to shift suspicion for the murder onto Sharon instead of Daniel. Meanwhile, after reading about Daniel's arrest, Sharon felt her plot collapsing around her.
Wednesday, October 30: Family talks
Nikki had a conversation with Lily, asking her to listen regarding the misunderstanding about the CEO position at Chancellor. She then went to Victor and once again tried to convince him not to ruin Jack Abbott.
Nate found himself in a dilemma after receiving news about his half-brother. He spoke to Audra and discussed whether she thought the news was true or if Amy was bluffing.
Thursday, October 31: Halloween comes true
In the Halloween episode, the residents of Genoa City met at the park in costume to celebrate. Mariah and Tessa accompanied their daughter, while Devon and Abby had a picnic and spoke about their wedding day.
Meanwhile, Halloween brought some horrors for Sharon, as she started seeing visions of a dead Heather as a ghost. She remained haunted and scared throughout the episode, being followed around by the "ghost."
Friday, November 1: Burden of proof
Summer and Kyle spent a day with Harrison, bonding with each other. They reminisced about how they were once at each other's throats during their custody battle and expressed how glad they were to leave all that behind.
Tessa and Daniel spoke about his arrest and impending court case. Daniel decided that he would have to be the one to find Heather's killer to prove his innocence.
