Viewers of General Hospital were promised a crossover from All My Children where the legendary character Erica Kane was likely to appear in Port Charles. The name-dropping of Erica continued while Walt Wiley's Jackson was pulled in for some episodes in the ABC soap.
However, Erica is not likely to appear anytime soon in General Hospital, as hinted by Nina's assistant Madison. To answer the titular question, no, Erica has not appeared on the soap as yet.
For the uninitiated, All My Children was a soap opera aired on ABC for four decades starting in 1970. The show concluded in September 2013 when revival was hinted at in the form of a primetime drama. However, that never came to fruition. Moreover, there were suggestions of crossovers to other shows which kept All My Children fans buoyed with hope.

For a long time General Hospital storyline has been dropping the names of some of the Pine Valley residents. Also, Nina was scheduled to have a meeting with Enchantment chief Erica Kane. This garnered interest among viewers who waited for actor Susan Lucci's Erica, from All My Children to appear on General Hospital.
Erica Kane's appearance on General Hospital was apparently canceled
ABC canceled Erica's appearance in Port Charles after a few weeks of story-building around it. As per the storyline, Nina and Enchantment were slated to meet. This meant a meeting with Erica Kane. However, Madison informed Nina that her boss Michael cancelled the meeting as he wanted to meet Nina himself.
An upset Nina was seen in the General Hospital episode that aired on July 26, 2024, warning Michael about Erica's anger. Nina also pointed out that it was difficult to get Erica's appointment and they should not have let this opportunity go. However, Michael claims to deal with Erica's wrath when she calls.
This turn of events has upset Erica's fans as much as Nina's since Susan Lucci's Erica was due an appearance in the Port Charles' soap since 2018. In one 2018 episode of General Hospital, Maxxie Jones was shown informing Nina that she may get a call from Erica Kane about Maxie's negotiations.
Again, a hint about Erica was put out in a July 2023 episode, in a conversation between Anna and Martin. Fans have been waiting for the longdue crossover to happen since then.
Who is Erica Kane of All My Children?
The legendary character of Erica Kane is a soap opera villain played by Susan Lucci in All My Children. The character debuted in 1970 and continued till the show's conclusion in 2011. The character gained popularity due to its larger-than-life portrayal by Lucci, highlighting the twisted moral compass of an ambitious femme fatale.
Erica grew up in a broken family which consisted of her absent father Eric Kane, and her mother Mona Kane. While she had a love-hate relationship with her mother, her negative character stemmed from being abandoned by her father. Throughout the story arc, Susan emphasizes the loss of paternal love in Erica's portrayal.
Erica went through her life looking for money, fame, and love. As such, she had multiple romantic relationships and other allegiances. Towards the end of the series, she killed David but was saved by her lookalike, Jane. She wrote a book and was asked to write a movie on the book.
However, Jack wanted to marry her. A dejected Jack left despite Erica declaring her love for him in front of everyone. As she made to rush after him, she was shot in the concluding episode.
While it seemed, she died, a 2013 spinoff found two of the soap's characters discussing Erica's flight to an exotic location implying she was alive after the shooting.
Will Erica appear on General Hospital in the future?
While the suggestion of a crossover and Erica Kane's connection with Nina have been doing rounds since 2018, there is no official confirmation from the soap's production team on this. What looked like a storyline building towards Nina and Erica's meeting has ended in disappointment as of now.
