NBC's daytime drama Days Of Our Lives first aired on American television on November 8, 1965, and since then, it has kept fans captivated with its interesting storylines and character arcs. Created by the couple Betty and Ted Corday, the show is set in the fictional town city of Salem. Days Of Our Lives is centered around the lives of the members of the Brady, Horton, DiMera, and Kiriakis families.

In the Days Of Our Lives preview, Bonnie was shown in a hospital gown, getting treated, while her husband Justin Kiriakis inspected the elevator and said that he felt it was not an accident but somebody's ploy to deliberately hurt Bonnie. Meanwhile, an unknown person was shown crossing out a headshot picture of Bonnie with a red marker, hinting at the possibility that it was a premeditated attack.
The upcoming episodes of the show will shed further light on this storyline and determine Bonnie's fate.
Bonnie Lockhart's character on Days Of Our Lives
During Bonnie Lockhart's journey on the show so far, she repeatedly interfered in her daughter Mimi's life and encouraged her to pursue relationships only with wealthy men. In 2007, the skeleton of Mimi's abusive father, David Lockhart, was found. David had been killed by Mimi in an act of self-defense, which was revealed by Bonnie.
In order to protect her daughter from the consequences, Bonnie took the blame for David's death and was subsequently jailed till 2017, before she escaped prison. In 2018, she returned to the show with a baby, also named Bonnie, and claimed that the child was her and Lucas's.
Later it was revealed that the baby was actually Emily Lockhart, Mimi and Rex's daughter who was conceived after the two had gotten intimate together briefly for one night. After this information was disclosed, Hattie asked Bonnie to go back to prison and finish the rest of her remaining sentence. In 2019, she came back and had written a memoir called Love Made Me Loony.
Bonnie's history on the show was tumultuous, with her pretending to be Adrienne Kiriakis, who was her lookalike. She also plotted how to entrap Lucas Horton in a marriage scheme and to blackmail Victor Kiriakis.
Her character later remedied herself and tried to start afresh by making amends with the residents of Salem. She grew closer to Justin Kiriakis, who had lost his wife Adrienne, and supported him during his difficult times. Eventually, the couple fell in love and got married. Bonnie was accepted by the Kiriakis family on Days Of Our Lives and continued living with Justin on the show.
